Strip Tubes

Strip tubes are plastic small-volume tubes of 8-strip or 12-strip lengths that are ideal for experiments such as PCR and real-time PCR (qPCR). These tubes are manufactured from high-purity polypropylene and consist of extremely thin walls that facilitate consistent thermal transfer when placed in a thermal cycler. The tubes are nested together; however, they can be separated into smaller fragments if necessary. Ideal PCR strip tubes are guaranteed RNase-, DNase-, and DNA-free, as well as free of chemical additives in order to limit cross-contamination of reagents and samples. They can also be autoclaved to ensure sterility. Strip tubes are available with or without the caps, which can be ordered individually if needed.
