Anti-CD10 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene MME, or 'membrane metalloendopeptidase' in humans. The 750-amino acid protein is a member of the Peptidase M13 family and the CD10 antigen is a documented cancer marker. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
