There are over 420 anti-FOLR1 antibodies from over 30 different suppliers shown below. Choose from either monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies for a variety of applications, such as Western blot, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, IHC and immunofluorescence.
In humans, this target is encoded by the gene, folate receptor alpha (FOLR1). Orthologs for FOLR1 have also been reported in other species, including mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee.
The canonical FOLR1 protein is 257 amino acids in length, 29.8 kDa in mass, and has a secreted and membrane subcellular localization. It is a member of the Folate receptor protein family. FOLR1 functions in folic acid receptor activity and folic acid binding, as well as having a role in vesicle-mediated transport and post-translational protein modification. The FOLR1 antigen is a documented cancer marker. Tissue-specific expression of FOLR1 has been observed in several tissues, including kidney, lung, placenta and thymus. Post-translational modifications have been described, notably proteolytic cleavage and glycosylation.
Synonyms for this protein include: FBP; FOLR; FRalpha; NCFTD; FR-alpha; KB cells FBP.
