The Next Generation of “Hot Start” PCR
TriLink BioTechnologies' new “Hot Start” PCR primers remove the obstacle of nonspecific amplification and make adding “Hot Start” PCR to your product development more affordable than ever before. CleanAmp™ Primers are chemically modified to reduce primer-dimer amplification and mispriming artifacts by holding your sequences unextendable until thermal activation. This modification virtually eliminates nonspecific extension at ambient temperatures. This technology has been proven effective for a number of PCR applications including qPCR and one-step RT-PCR. CleanAmp™ Primers have been optimized to work with standard DNA polymerases (e.g. Taq) reducing the per reaction costs associated with using “Hot Start” enzymes.
