Our lab needs CD10 regularly. It is useful in identifying mature granulocytes and distinguishing them from the immature forms in the bone marrow. in addition, progenitor B cells (aka hematogenous) also express CD10. This is why we are always looking for good CD10 antibodies.

The results from our optimization study showed that the antibody is indeed specific to the cells it is meant to identify (see figure - both mature granulocytes and immature B cells are shown in a bone marrow specimen). However, the antibody took a while to optimize, and it causes a lot of issues for APC and APC-Cy7 channels.
