The Good
It is fast and yield good purity population.
The Bad
There is considerable loss of B cells in the flow through.
The Bottom Line
The purity of the cells is very satisfactory for in vitro applications. It is also good to perform enrichment before cytometric sort, in case the cells are needed for deep sequencing. The protocol has been improved along the years and is much faster now. It is good value for money, in particular in institute were the sort facility is expensive.
