We use this power supply for running our western blot gels and DNA gels. The power supply is extremely useful when we need multiple terminals to run multiple gel boxes.

Protocol Overview

After we assemble the gel box for running western blots, we plug our gel box into the power supply. Our lab likes to run on a constant voltage (120V), while the watts and amps fluctuate throughout the run.

Tips

Running the volts too high can result in choppy wells on the gel afterwards.
