In semi-quantitative PCR method of gene quantification, the end product of PCR was to be analyzed on the agarose gel. Unfortunately, small amplicons of size less the 100bp cannot be visualized on a conventional agarose gel. DNA 1000 kit can be used to quantify the PCR product with high accuracy and precision.

The kit can be used by following the manufacturer's instruction carefully. Briefly, the chip has to be purged with the matrix gel provided along with the kit and 1 microliter of sample is loaded into each well with a marker provided and finally a ladder is loaded into appropriate wells and analyzed.
Prevent air bubbles before loading
Eletropherogram is displayed with the size distribution of the PCR product with its concentration

This kit can be used to quantify the PCR product and check for any non specific bands, if any.

I strongly recommend this kit for people who are working with semi quantitative PCR.
